MOBY BOOKS REVIEWS EPISODE 1 WAR OF THE WORLDS
this one was good a perfect adaptation of the HG wells novel
it was short (as were all these books) and a very quick read almost
anyone with a brain knows how this story ends so i have no need to tell it
i do have a few complaints such as the fact that the martians looked like a cross between a squid and a bird(illustration not found) and that the tripods look nothing like on the interrior illustration as you can see they look more like ovals and on the cover they are more sphere like I would say check this book out if you can find it see you next week when i take a trip around the world IN 80 DAYS

moby book reviews introduction

ah moby books a symbole of childhood for most people such as myself moby books was a series of 36 books published by the waldman company in 3 batches of 12 each in 1977 1979 and 1983 respectivley
each book had an illustration on every other page to accompany the text that had been abdriged and simplified for young readers here is an example
note the large font size i could not find an illustration to accompany this page
i play to review some of these books seeing as i have a complete 36 book set to awaken those cherished childhood memories of people who read them when they where kids
